2015.10.05 Application Deadline for Domestic Students is Extended! New Submission deadline is October 9, 2015.
Application results will be announced on October 16, 2015.
We welcome applications from students in medical, nursery, health enhancement, social work, information engineering, and design disciplines.
There is no registration fee. Food, transportation, and accommodation expenses are covered during the workshop.

2015.08.14 Application for Domestic Students is Now Open
The Asian Smart Living International School (ASLIS) is a cross-disciplinary workshop funded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. In the past, it has explored issues such as creative education and sustainable agriculture. It provides a cross-disciplinary platform where scholars, researchers, and students from different cultural and social backgrounds can interact and exchange ideas over specific themes. Our aim is to continue to investigate issues that are essential for the improvement and benefit of future societies.
This year, the Asian Smart Living International School examines the need of smart health care for modern societies in a global context. We hope to:
1. Unlock new design concepts for smart-living healthcare for the elderly
2. Adopt smart-living technologies for future healthcare services
